Very good food and delicious beer, food and drinks can also be ordered via mobile phone and are then brought to the table. What I personally think is very good, you don't have to wait for someone to come to take your order. Very nice atmosphere, every visit is an experience

The staff is super friendly and careful. The food there is excellent and we recommend trying different types of beer. We would love to come back.

The Vulkan Brewery is located in Mendig. We were in Maria Laach and hiked around the lake. Then it was a good idea to visit the Vulkan Brewery. The brewery produces very tasty beers and you are definitely doing everything right when you stop here. We then also took a look at the deepest brewery cellar in the world. However, it is no longer really used. It was still interesting and not too expensive. All in all great.

Great service, great food, not cheap, but inexpensive because quality cannot be cheap. Local meat and hearty portions. I can really only recommend it. Not just a brewery, but a really great place.

First off, the Vulkan Brewery is definitely worth a visit. The overall package is exceptional and a visit to the basalt cellar caves is not something you see every day. The € 7 entry for the tour is well invested and then you can fortify yourself with a delicious beer and a good rump steak.

The food was delicious, as were the drinks. Nice and very motivated waiters / staff. We would love to come back.

Great, quaint ambience. Very friendly staff, incredibly good food at reasonable prices. I've seldom eaten such a good burger, and the cookie in the pouring pan with vanilla ice cream is a blast! We'd love to come back. Great evening!

Very professional restaurant. Great food, very nice service (Michaela) and perfect Corona hygiene. The restaurant was full and there was no rush. The food was very good . A real must for beer lovers. Always happy when I'm here on vacation.

The beer is very tasty - definitely try it! There are various very good standard varieties and regularly new fine specialties. The restaurant used to be more cozy, but the cuisine is still great - especially the meat from Eifel pork or beef and the game from our own hunt are absolute recommendations.

We went to the brewery spontaneously on a Sunday recommendation and were assigned a table after a short wait of 5 minutes (without a reservation). The restaurant was full to the last table and a reservation is definitely recommended. You could feel tension and stress within the staff. It took a while before the waiter noticed us for the first time. Our patience was rewarded with delicious food and delicious beers! The prices are moderate. It is very nice that you can order, calculate and pay via smartphone - great!

I have known the Vulkan beer for a while and recently I finally managed to visit the Vulkan brewery on site. We knew in advance that the beer was very good, but we also liked the food. Despite the large kitchen, our dishes were warm, fresh and tasty. It is positive that some products are also sourced from the Eifel. The prices are a bit above the usual average, but the portions were decent. In between there were somewhat longer waiting times because the brewery was very busy that evening. Because the brewery is now well-known beyond the borders of the Eifel, there is usually a lot going on here. That is why it makes sense, especially on weekends, to reserve a table in advance to avoid long waiting times. Sometimes it is also difficult to find a parking space directly on the site. The service was always friendly and mostly attentive. We particularly recommend the shop, which sells all kinds of beers as well as other items and the delicious Vulkan bread. All in all, we had a nice, relaxed and delicious evening here and would come back again if we are in the area.

An absolute must for beer lovers in the region! All of our favorite brewery beers on the menu, many of them on tap, delicious special beers, seasonal beers, unique spirits, everything a hop heart desires. The absolute highlight is the "Eisbock" as a digestif ♡ The food is also highly recommended, be sure to try the chips and dips and the cookie dessert: a treat for the palate in every way. We knew the restaurant before it was remodeled and were now pleasantly surprised at how great everything turned out. The service staff is prepared for any rush. Without a reservation, my husband and I got a seat in the restaurant. It was jam-packed in the beer garden, but here too we were offered to wait or have a drink in the sports bar. Food and beer are great, we were amazed how quickly everything was served - despite a full house! There are enough parking spaces.

Although Saturday and no reservation, we got a table. The service is very quick and we didn't have to wait long for the food, the team was very busy. We had dishes with chanterelles, the taste was perfect. And there is no need to argue about the beer, it tastes so delicious.

We became aware of you through the advance of laurels through other movements. I have to say we were pleasantly surprised. Despite Corona, enough space outside and inside. The staff was always friendly and helpful. Since we are both handicapped, they immediately asked if it was possible or if help was needed. The food (pork knuckle and game goulash) was served quickly and tasted very good. The portions weren't small either. Taste very, very tasty. The whole atmosphere was right. The lady in the shop was also very friendly and helpful. She still helped us to bring the goods we bought to the car. If we are around again we will definitely come back.

We took part in the cellar tour and the beer tasting. Both were managed by very nice employees and were very interesting. The other employees on site were all nice and helped us. There is a great selection of beers and other items in the shop. We had a very nice stay and can absolutely recommend the cellar tour and tasting.

As always, delicious and the best service! I like to drive a good two hours for that. This time as a passenger, I could enjoy different beers.

A very interesting guided tour through the brewery cellar, during which information is given about the formation of the caves and their later use by various breweries. The excursion is rounded off with a delicious beer from the brewery. We didn't eat this time, but it looked damn tasty and smelled delicious ... we'll be back!

Great food, great service and of course great beer! Would recommend and revisit.

Here you can drink some really good German beer, much much better than the known commercial brands. Every beer type tastes really good. And they always have seasonal beer on top. Our favourite is the easy, light but tasty beer, in summer goes down like water ?. The food is also quite good, but the speciality of house is the beer, no question there!

Very friendly and awesome pub. Lovely Vulcan beers and meals.

Have been there around 30 times with friends and family - also before the renovation. Since they have renovated I am gladly drive 70 (incl. return) to go for dinner. Friendly staff , very good food and always nice to share with loved ones. After having written - I think it is a good idea to plan dinner there this Friday. :)

Everytime I go to Germany this is one of the must go places. Delicious craft beer in the Eifel.

The restaurant is nicely decorated, food is tasty and the local beer is very good however it is brewered in modern way and has nothing in common with vulcanic tradition of this area. I was surprised with the tour in the cave/cellars. The guide was English speaking and told interesting story but in fact beside some rocks and tanks there is nothing.

It is packed with a lot of History, and has the best brewed beer in the world.

A really nice place, great beer but not a lot of dishes to choose from.

Great service, delicious traditional german food with large portions, and lovely beer. I had some issues with the language barrier so the staff found someone fluent in English to help me out. 10/10 would recommend and hope to go back again.

The Vulkan brewery, brauhaus is more of a restaurant with a brewery then a stand alone brewery. This is a good thing: the classic German dishes are well prepared but also predictable. They've a big selection of their own beer on tap. And the waiting staff is quick and friendly. A tip, if you don't want to wait for a table: arrive early. The restaurant is busy on the weekends.
